Keita joins Valladolid on loan
The stress of the transfer window has now been put to bed for Real Mallorca fans. The squad for the season, or the next six months atleast, has been confirmed and it doesn’t include Guinean Alhassane Keita who joined Real Valladolid on loan for the season.
Keita’s £11,800 p/w contract has been causing headaches for Serra Ferrer and on deadline day finally managed to agree a deal with Real Valladolid. Keita will join on a 12-month loan deal in which Valladolid will pay the whole of his wages. This gives Serra Ferrer time to find a buyer for the striker, whose contract expires in the summer of 2013.
Serra Ferrer wasn’t, however, able to sell on Pierre Webo who will remain at the club for another six months atleast. Webo’s £19,500 p/w contract has also been causing headaches for the Spaniard and no deal could be reached with the Cameroonian.
