Cavenaghi: ‘We have nothing to lose against Barça’
On loan Mallorca striker Fernando Cavenaghi believes his side have nothing to lose when they take on Barcelona this weekend. The Argentine striker hit the net twice in the last game for los Bermellones and while the former Bordeaux and Spartak Moscow striker understands the ability of the opponents, he feels there is always a chance.
“The game will be spectacular because they are a tough opponent but not impossible to beat. In Barcelona we have nothing to lose,” the ‘Bull’ told Marca.
Cavenaghi spoke of his delight at getting of the mark against Real Sociedad.
“I wasn’t anxious because it is a process of adaptation. This is a different country with different football and players. I try to be calm because it is the only way to improve in training. I was very pleased and knew at some point I would get my goal. The first was quite difficult and I hit it with great force, so I really enjoyed it. Certainly the most important thing was it helped us win.”
