Nsue praises Laudrup
Mallorca forward Emilio Nsue has commented on his satisfaction at his relationship with new coach Michael Laudrup, who took the reins at the financially-stricken club during the summer. The 20-year took part in the Islanders’ surprise 3-2 friendly victory over Atletico Madrid yesterday, scoring a goal and providing an assist.
Nsue, speaking to journalists after the match, had kind words to say about the boss who masterminded the victory. He claimed, “Having a great coach and a great former player like him is important. He shows a great deal of humility, and it is great for young people who have to keep learning. I hope to learn much more with him, and hopefully we will all do well.”
Nsue also reckons that if the side are able to maintain the level of performance they showed against their Primera Division rivals, he has ‘good feelings’ for the season ahead. He added, “I think we made the fans happy, and as I always say, we must continue working, learning and taking experience to be ready for the start of the league.”
Mallorca kick off the new season with a home match versus Real Madrid.
