Laudrup remains tight lipped on Ramos and Victor
Mallorca coach Michael Laudrup is understood to be pondering signing Brazilian duo Edson Ramos and Joao Victor, who have been on trial with the reserve team for the past number of weeks, according to AS. Both players were released by Uzbek side Bunyodkor recently along with Brazil legend Rivaldo and would be available to join the Barralets as free agents.
Right back Ramos, who can also operate on the right wing is a 24-year-old who has previously played for AEK Athens in Greece while 21-year-old Victor played his formative years in Brazil before moving to Uzbekistan. Laudrup has not confirmed whether any signings will be made but it is rumoured that Enrique Corrales, Alhassane Keita and Pierre Webo could all leave the Balearic outfit before the season starts next weekend.
“It’s never good to be trying to sign someone at the last minute but since you can sign up to the 31st [of August] the opposite may happen,” he declared.
