Villarreal come in for Ramis

Villarreal are hoping to leave Real Mallorca without not only Europa League football, but star defender Ivan Ramis too. Club president Fernando Roig is prepared to offer £2.9 million for the Spaniard, around £100,000 short of what Celtic wanted to pay for both Ramis and Alhassane Keita just months ago.

Real Mallorca won’t be frowning on the interest shown to Ramis. The player is out of contract at the end of the season and despite only being on £10,000 per week, it is seen as being too high for the club.
