Julio Alvarez set for Zaragoza

Real Mallorca midfielder Julio Alvarez looks set to join Real Zaragoza in a deal which will double his £10,000-per week contract this is set to expire this summer. Alvarez’s agent Jose Rodriguez flew to Aragon to discuss terms and conditions earlier in the week after talks with Mallorca to extend his twelve month deal broke down.

Alvarez had held several meetings with the Islanders but nothing could be guaranteed in regards to his contract until bankruptcy had been confirmed or until the club is sold.
