President and board members resign

The president of Real Mallorca, Tomeu Vidal, and members of the board Alex Garcia, Maria Garcia and Maria Antonia Pons presented the resignation of their respective roles.

Confirmed by the Balearic club, the resignations come just days after the announcement made by owner Mateo Alemany that the club will voluntarily declare bankruptcy. Miguel Vaquer replaces Vidal on an interim basis, a spokesman confirmed.

Vidal was very grateful for the treatment received by the entity, the media, fans and club. The former president described it as “extraordinary”.
