Pre-season details announced
Real Mallorca will begin pre-season training on the 5th July in the Balearic capital and will play a total of nine friendlies in Sweden, Holland, England and Palma. The club will set up base in the Dutch town of Ermelo from the 21st July and will remain there until the 2nd August.
The biggest change from usual pre-season plans is that they will be based in Ermelo rather than the Austrian town of Kossen.
The team will travel from Palma to Sweden on the 11th July in order to play two friendlies. They’ll face Djurgarden on the 12th and Norrköping on the 14th July before returning to Palma on the 15th. On the 21st July the club will travel to Ermelo where they will play FC Zwolle, Feyenoord, Vitesse Arnhem, SC Heerenveen and FC Utrecht. They will then return to Palma on the 2nd August. Real Mallorca’s final friendly game will be against Premiership side Birmingham in England on the 7th August.
Yet to be announced is the date and opposition of the Ciutat de Palma Trophy, which is due to be played in August.
