Mallorca to face Birmingham in friendly

Real Mallorca will be playing Premiership side Birmingham City at St Andrews on the 7th August in a pre-season friendly, confirmed a representative for the Balearic side.

The announcement only fuels speculation that Dudu Aouate will be joining the English side in the summer and that the friendly is part of the agreement.

In addition, the club has confirmed they will face Djurgarden IF and IFK Norrkoping in Sweden on the 12th and 14th July, respectively.

First opponents Djurgarden IF were founded in 1891 and have won the Swedish first division eleven times. IFK Norrkoping were formed in 1897 and have won thirteen first division titles but currently compete in the second tier of Swedish football.
