Islanders sign Mattioni

Real Mallorca have announced the signature of 21-year-old Brazilian full back Felipe Mattioni Rhode for £850,000. Mattioni spent the whole of 2009/2010 on loan at the club from Maga Esporte (a company, not a club) impressing staff and fans alike.

The highlight of the season for Mattioni was undoubtedly his stunning strike against Atletico Madrid in the 4-1 win, highlights of which can be found here.
