Ramis out for a month

Defender Ivan Ramis, who has been linked with Celtic, has been ruled out for a month with a torn adductor that was picked up in training last Wednesday.

Ramis, who is a key player in the mind of manager Gregorio Manzano, will almost definitely be replaced by summer signing Ruben Gonzalez at the heart of the defence for Sunday's crunch match with Valencia.

Ramis has formed a good partnership with fellow central defender Jose Nunes this season and his injury is a major setback for Mallorca's European ambitions.
