Kevin in Intensive Care Unit

Real Mallorca B’s Kevin Garcia is still recovering in Levante Rehabilitation Centre following his clash with Valencia Mestalla’s (Valencia B) Lillo. The players clashed heads in the first minute of their Segunda Division B Grupo III fixture. Lillo walked from the pitch but Mallorca’s Kevin had to be stretchered after being knocked unconscious, suffering seizures.

The Real Mallorca medical staff commented on how the state of Kevin was quite alarming after suffering the seizures but has stated he is now recovering well.

Lillo was discharged the morning after being operated on following the clash which left him with a deep gash in his head.

Kevin has had a good season for Mallorca B with some calling for his promotion to the first team.
