Islanders chase Mohammed Tchite
Highly rated attacker Mohammed Tchite recently expressed his dismay with the way things are going at Racing Santander and the Belgian striker is widely expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old forward was initially expected to leave Spain in the summer transfer window, but his strong performances in recent weeks have attracted the interest of La Liga’s surprise package Real Mallorca, according to a number of reports from Spain.
Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano is eager to add to his ranks in the summer transfer window and the successful coach reportedly sees Tchite as the perfect addition to his squad.
Tchite has made 83 league appearances for Racing since joining his current club in the summer of 2007, scoring 23 goals in the process. The attacker is looking for a new challenge though, and Santander are reportedly happy to cash in on the attacker.
