Former Mallorca President Dalmau Found Dead

Flags at the ONO Estadi are flying at half mast today after the body of former club president Miquel Dalmau (1992-1995) was found lifeless in his car in the costal area of Cabo Blanco, as confirmed by his lawyer Eduardo Valdivia.

Dalmau’s disappearance a few days ago was well publicised in Spain.

His last call was to one of his son’s saying that he ‘wanted to be with him, but couldn’t because [he] had a job’. Authorities have said they are treating the case as suicide but haven’t ruled out any other scenarios.

His car was located at the bottom of a cliff about ten metres from the sea.
