Camacho: “Mallorca were the better team”
Osasuna coach Jose Antonio Camacho admitted that Mallorca played the better football after his side fell to a 2-0 defeat at the Ono Stadi.
The Navarran outfit were wasteful in possession as goals from Ruben and Alhassane Keita in either half completed the win for the hosts.
“Mallorca played the better football. They’re a team that wants to play in the Champions League and we are in the middle of the table. That was noticeable in a few areas, when they got near our area they were focused on shooting. When we got forward we lacked confidence, looking to turn back, pass, stand on it,” he told a press conference.
“We could have drawn but we lacked luck. We were aggressive but lacked the ability to score. I would worry if we neglected other features but we played against teams that are better than us and there are differences.”
