I will be on vacation in Palma end of January/beginning of February and wanted to see the game vs. Betis. I can tell from previous posts that getting tickets at game day should not be an issue. Do you think the attendance will be similar to previous games (10-13k)?
Do the ticket vendors speak some English or should I prepare my preferences in "google-translate Spanish" (sidline, center etc.)?
As wikipedia is down today because of SOPA and PIPA looming around, and the club's website is not too explicit, could you please tell me how the stand is called that has the roof? Is that the "tribuna coberta" (Sol probably gets its name from the sun shining on it, hence might not be the one with the roof?)? I think I'd take tickets for that stand as I might bring my old man along and want us to be covered in case of rain (although it seems to be quite nice at the moment, fingers crossed).
We will have a rental car - it was already pointed out in another post that parking isn't a problem. Does it matter when I arrive or how far in advance should I be there to get a parking spot? Is there any public transportation to the stadium?
Any idea when the game will be scheduled or does that depend on the cup results? Do you know when they'd play their semifinal games if they advance (good luck tonight!)? Ideally there would be another home game during my stay (Jan.30-Feb.7)...
Looking forward to the experience.
Cheers from Berlin!
