Will Nunes retire after injury?

Postby royal. » 19th August 2011, 7:59 pm

considering his age and the seriousness of his injury, surely the likelihood of Nunes ever returning must be slim. there have been players who are much younger who struggle to return from this kind of injury.

and will the ramis-chico partnership cut it?

I'd certainly hope not. And given the latest update, I'd doubt it - looks like it's not as serious as we expected.

My poor translation skills aside, I believe it's saying he should be back in 2 to 3 months.

In mallorca and in a newspaer interview Nunes said he will be out of action for 8-12 weeks.
Going to game on Sunday just hope weather cools down a bit. Hopefully a winning start espanyol still appear to be selling rather than buying (just like mallorca)
